    Today is the 28th (or 256th) day of the year, which makes it the Day of the Programmer. We're proud to be a part of the community, and thank you for everything you've done to make our world a little more awesome.

They’ve built the apps that have transformed businesses and made our lives easier. To celebrate their awesomeness, OutSystems will be awarding 256 prizes throughout the next two days:

    These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the “International Programmer's Day” contest (the “Sweepstakes”) offered by OutSystems (“OutSystems”) and by submitting an entry to the Sweepstakes, you have accepted these Terms in their entirety:
    Eligibility.    No purchase necessary. Any person may enter the Sweepstakes if the Sweepstakes does not breach any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident. Void where prohibited by law. Entrants are solely responsible for determining whether the Sweepstakes breach any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident. Entrants must have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (or have parental consent as set out herein) and must have internet access. The Sweepstakes are not open to employees of OutSystems or its affiliated companies or their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with this draw. OutSystems reserves the right to review the eligibility of the potential winner before the Prize is awarded.

    Entries.    To enter the Sweepstakes, existing OutSystems users must Tweet with the Suggested Tweets provided. Participants are encouraged to use the handle @OutSystemsDev. Entries will close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 13, 2016. The odds of winning the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

    Prize.        Subject to these Terms, OutSystems will award two hundred fifty six (256) prizes ("The Giveaway Prizes"). The prizes consist of a random drawings of a drone, t-shirt, hoodie, or sticker. As of the date of the Sweepstakes, the Giveaway Prizes have a value of: drone, $70; t-shirt, $20; hoodie, $26; sticker, $1. All prizes will be given out at the end of the evening of International Programmers Day via OutSystems Twitter on Direct Message. In the event of changes to OutSystems offering, the contest winner will receive an OutSystems package of equal or greater value. OutSystems reserves the right to terminate the Prize without further liability prior to the expiry of 50 years if: (a) OutSystems ceases to operate or becomes insolvent; or (b) OutSystems ceases to offer social media management software-as-a-service substantially similar to the Prize. No cash or other substitution of prizes is permitted, except at the sole option of OutSystems for a prize of equal or greater value. The winners of the Prize is solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes, if any, that apply to the Prize. The Prize is offered “as is” with no written, express, or implied warranty. 

    Draw.        The Sweepstakes winner will be selected in a random drawing held during International Programmers Day, September 12th 12:00 am GMT – 4 to September 13th 11:59 pm. from all eligible entries received by OutSystems, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. The potential winner will be notified via Twitter, within the course of the giveaway. If the potential winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Terms, if the Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if the Prize is rejected, the potential winner will be disqualified and the Prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. The Prize is non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution is permitted, except at the sole option of OutSystems for a prize of equal or greater value. Federal, state, provincial, and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Instructions on claiming the Prize will be tweeted to the winner within 3 hours of winner verification. Undeliverable prizes will not be awarded. 

    Internet.     If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of OutSystems which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, OutSystems reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Proof of entering information on OutSystems’ website is not considered proof of delivery or receipt by OutSystems. OutSystems disclaims all responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, problem or technical malfunctions, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, which may limit your ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. Where the Sweepstakes involves access or use of a third party website (“Third Party Website”), you understand and agree that: (a) OutSystems has no control over the Third Party Website whatsoever; (b) you are solely and fully responsible for your use of the Third Party Website; and (c) OutSystems disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for any harm resulting from you use of any Third Party Website. 

    General.     OutSystems disclaims any responsibility for incorrect entry information, including, but not limited to, human or technical error. By participating, entrants acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and the decisions of OutSystems, which are final. The Prize is non transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. All personal information will be used in accordance with OutSystems’ privacy policy ( OutSystems reserves the right to disqualify, and seek any applicable legal remedies and damages from, any individual or entrant tampering with the entry process or the Sweepstakes in any way whatsoever.


    Publicity.    The winner, in accepting the Prize, (or their parent/legal guardian if the winner is under the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence) consent to OutSystems’ use of their name, city, state/province, and photographs for purposes of advertising, trade and promotion in any and all media, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
